Trying to test then install LL 3.4 on old Dell Latitude D800
#11
So, I am happy to say - "So far so good"!

I did the forcepae -- forcepae after booting from my USB.  I then clicked install. After installing I shut down the computer and re-booted and PRESTO I have LL 3.4 on the screen just like on other computers that did not present with the PAE message and require the forcepae step.

So I am thinking that there is no need for me to go into the grub file...am I correct?  Once i know this I will make sure to add "SOLVED" to this post.

If everything works. Mark as solved. I do not have force-pae gear with Linux-Lite on them. All my Linux Lite installs are in my signature. So I am not real hip on that.

Well it has continued to work and boot into LL 3.4 fine so I will mark it as solved.

I have another few questions regarding this Dell D800, however will post separately in the appropriate part of the forum.

Thanks all.
