Changing menu entries from category and/or creating new ones
#1
Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a nice life! Smile

In this tutorial we'll see how to change a menu entry from one category into another one and/or creating new ones by using the menu maker/customizer app "main menu" available in LL. In this example I'll change "printers" from system menu entry into the graphics one.

First thing you need to do is click on menu or press home key, type "menu" click enter and "main menu" will start.

Next, select the category where the app/tool you want to change/delete is, in this case system > printers, click on it and select properties.

A window properties is open, copy that info as you'll need it for next step which is clicking in the desired menu destination, in this case "Graphics". Once in graphics menu, in the "main menu" app window select "new item", a new window opens for you to type in the new item details, use the ones you wrote/copied before and click on "ok" to close that window. The new item should now be created and will appear in the graphics menu.

If you want/wish no longer to keep "printers" menu on system entries select that item in "main menu" app window and next click on delete

And that's it, easy right? Smile Now you can close "main menu" app window, click on menu or press home key, point your mouse to graphics menu  and see your new created/reallocated item

If creating a non existant/available menu entry, steps are almost the same; select new item option from within "main menu" app, type in item properties in the window/box, click "ok" and that should be it.

PS: I made all of this in a LL 3.8 64bit VM. Oh boy VMs are really helpful  8)

Without each others help there ain't no hope for us Smile
