Asus Xonar Essence Vs Linux Lite
#1
Heya,

I installed Linux Lite on a bunch of PC, except my main gaming rig.
My Windows 7 is giving me headaches with unexplained .5 seconds slowdowns every few seconds so I'm gonna go dual boot Linux Lite on it.
I only had LL in virtual on this one until now but my main concern is that I have a really nice sound card called an Asus Xonar Essence XTS (audiophile card) and I'm not sure if it will work 100%
or have all the the Hi-Fi specs available in Linux. For example, I can change the output from 32 to 250 Ohms depending on my headphones.

Anyone has experience with this card in Linux?

Cheers!

"davidsrsb" - "I have that card working in my media server under 16.04 64 bit and previously 14.04 64 bit. No install disk required as the Ubuntu kernel already has the driver "
