hardware suggestions needed.

hey guys im currently looking for an server but i am in an confusing bind. im looking to at Lenvno, thinkpenguin plus system76. almost for forgot Zareason. the lenvno is cheaper and is on Amazon. but i need to know the hardware sturdiness. the zareasons i got are ok but the hardware kinda bad.

I've been using LL on two used Lenovo ThinkPad laptops (i5 and i7) and it runs prefectly on both. I have no experience with System76 or ZaReason so I can't offer an option.

Scott, I am using Zareason laptop and workstation.  I am looking for an better built hardware then what I got. I have never bought an server before. Jupiterbroadcasting swears system76 is good but thier choices on pop os is strange to me.....  I'm really leaning on thinkpenguin and cause they will donate an portion of it to an project. If I am reading this correctly.  I just can't seem to find an Amd server.....  I am an AMD fan boy because my last intel mess up badly.

Three years ago, I bought a Dell CS24-TY.  I got it from www.deepdiscountservers.com.  I actually made the purchase from them via their Amazon.com listing.  It came with 72GB of RAM, 2 Xeon processors, a 250GB 7200RPM hard drive, and rack rails.  At the time, that ran $625 including shipping.
