I made the mistake of updating Kodi 15.2 to 17.3. How do I change it back to 15.2? Lite software will only reinstall 17.3 now and it does not work. I am using Linux Lite 3.4.

Have you tried installing it through the official website https://kodi.tv/download

Thanks for the response Anon. I’m sorry for not responding to your answer sooner but I’ve been tied up with other things and I have not had the chance. I went to the site https://kodi.tv/download but the only way I could get Kodi 15.2 was to download it as a tar.gz file. I do not know how to install a tar.gz file onto Linux.
I did get Kodi 15.2 back though. I went to the site http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install Kodi for Linux and followed the directions for Downgrading between newer and older stable versions. That got me from Kodi 17.3 to Kodi 16.1. Then I went to Synaptic Package Manager and used forced version to get to Kodi 15.2. So far everything is working.
I had tried to use Synaptic Package Manager to force version from Kodi 17.3 to 16.1, then from 16.1 to 15.2 but came up with broken packages that I could not fix.

FTR - The correct way to install Kodi is via Lite Software.
