GuvcWiev: no video
#1
Hi All  Smile

After reading nice rewievs of Linux Lite 3.0 I have been wishing to try it and just installed, still personalizing it but already got a small problem: installed GuvcWiev by "Lite Software" I don't get video.
Better, it is recording but I hear only the voice, the image is like a pic not video.
Please, do anyone knowing how to fix that issue?

Thanks for your kind attention

Hi Jerry, thank you for your kind concern
Code:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 046d:0821 Logitech, Inc. HD Webcam C910
It works properly with Skype and to the other machines of mine (Linux, Windows) too

Edit
Forgot to say that on Linux Lite 3.0 64 bit I have been installing "Cheese" too wishing to check if it works. No, same problem, removed

Did cheese work with your camera on your other linux systems? Did you have a problem installing it in linux lite, or did you just remove it because it didn't work?

Please attach a report - https://www.freecinema2022.gq/manual/hardw...#sysreport

Is this camera plugged directly into the computer or into a USB hub?

@ Jerry: Hi! - Yes please, hereby the report attached.
Camera plugged directly into the computer.

@ Trinidad: Cheese removed because acting exactly like GuvcWiev: takes pics, video with audio but as only one image (like pic)

Bourbon,

If/when this problem gets a solution, it would benefit others if you correct the spelling of guvcview, at least in the subject line of your post.
