Have just installed LL 2.8 32 bit on an old Dell Dimension 3000.
O/S running great but cannot get flash to work in Chromium.
Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling chromium adding pepperflash in synaptic.
Still no joy.
Any ideas....?.

You might want to consider the following taken from
this link:
Err, it hasn’t worked!
Some users find that they need to tell Chromium about the plugin. To do this run:
sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree --install
If this doesn’t work you may need to manually configure it. With Chromium fully closed/exited, run the following command in a Terminal to launch the appropriate file in a text editor:
sudo nano /etc/chromium-browser/default
Add the following line at the end on a new line:
. /usr/lib/pepflashplugin-installer/pepflashplayer.sh
Save — it’s easy to forget to do that — and then close.
As an alternative, you might consider installing the Slimjet browser http://www.slimjet.com/. It's based on Chromium.

Installing Chromium via Lite Software is the correct procedure and gives you pepper flash too.
