Language Folder names in thunar
#1
I would like the folder names in Thuner too be in Danish. I know that I can right click on them and rename them. But there is a package I can install to get folder names in Danish

Hi Snubbi,

Have you installed the Danish language pack?

Yes, I have. It has always solved the problem in the other Linux distros I've used previously. But apparently not in LIte

I believe I've read about this issue in a past post. Hopefully it will be corrected at some point, in the meantime does manually renaming the folders cause any issues?

That´s  right Scott, but the best would be that it can be solved in the right way. I hope that you find something Scott about the subject. I have tried to search for this problem without solution :'(

Try this:

Open a terminal and do:

Code:
xdg-user-dirs-update --force

then log out then in again. You will see 2 sets of each folders, now you have Danish names.
Don't forget to move files from the english folders to the Danish ones.

Then you can delete the english folders.
