No drivers available for Nvidia 710M - beneix - 11-25-2024

I get the following readout of lshw:

Code:
  *-display
       description: 3D controller
       product: GF117M [GeForce 610M/710M/810M/820M / GT 620M/625M/630M/720M]
       vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
       physical id: 0
       bus info: pci@0000:01:00.0
       version: a1
       width: 64 bits
       clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list rom
       configuration: driver=nouveau latency=0
       resources: irq:37 memory:f6000000-f6ffffff memory:e0000000-efffffff memory:f0000000-f1ffffff ioport:e000(size=128) memory:f7000000-f707ffff

However, when I try to follow the guide to replace nouveau with Nvidia driver, I get no results in the "Additional Drivers" section. How can I get the driver installed for my Nvidia 710M?

Hello, the Help Manual information is accurate..."nVidia Legacy information - If your card is listed here, you can either use the pre-installed video driver for Linux Lite or you can try the legacy driver. Linux Lite recommends you stick with the pre-installed video driver as it is the most reliable, and the safest choice."

Thanks. Yes, that part is correct. Further down, it says "When it has finished scanning, you will see a dialogue box similar to the one below.", which is followed by a screenshot of a list of NVIDIA drivers. This is where my experience is different - there are no drivers offered, so I cannot choose the legacy driver.

I suppose I will just stick with nouveau.
