Cannot switch the light intensity of the screen - arliccio - 09-12-2023 Hi, community ! I am a student and also a writer, then the light intensity of the screen is very important to my work. But, with Linux Lite, I cannot to alter the light of it. I also use the Redshift feature, but sometimes I feel it is irrisory for my needs. What else can I do ? I do have a laptop with the following settings: System: Kernel: 6.4.0 x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Xfce 4.16.0 Distro: Linux Lite 6.6 LTS Machine: Type: Laptop System: Positivo Informatica SA product: A14CR6A v: 1.01.02_POSO serial: <filter> Mobo: Positivo Informatica SA model: A14CR6A v: POSITIVO serial: <filter> BIOS: American Megatrends v: 1.01.02 date: 01/31/2013 Battery: ID-1: BAT0 charge: 16.0 Wh condition: 16.6/48.8 Wh (34%) CPU: Topology: Dual Core model: Intel Core i3-3110M bits: 64 type: MT MCP L2 cache: 3072 KiB Speed: 1200 MHz min/max: 1200/2400 MHz Core speeds (MHz): 1: 1200 2: 1200 3: 1200 4: 1200 Graphics: Device-1: Intel 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics driver: i915 v: kernel Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.21.1.4 driver: modesetting unloaded: fbdev, vesa resolution: 1366x768~60Hz OpenGL: renderer: Mesa Intel HD Graphics 4000 (IVB GT2) v: 4.2 Mesa 23.0.4-0ubuntu1~22.04.1 Audio: Device-1: Intel 7 Series/C216 Family High Definition Audio driver: snd_hda_intel Sound Server: ALSA v: k6.4.0 Network: Device-1: Realtek RTL8723AE PCIe Wireless Network Adapter driver: rtl8723ae IF: wlp1s0 state: up mac: <filter> Device-2: JMicron JMC250 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet driver: jme IF: enp2s0f5 state: down mac: <filter> IF-ID-1: proton0 state: unknown speed: 10000 Mbps duplex: full mac: N/A Drives: Local Storage: total: 119.24 GiB used: 93.02 GiB (78.0%) ID-1: /dev/sda model: SSD 128GB size: 119.24 GiB Partition: ID-1: / size: 116.32 GiB used: 93.01 GiB (80.0%) fs: ext4 dev: /dev/sda3 Sensors: System Temperatures: cpu: 46.0 C mobo: 29.8 C Fan Speeds (RPM): N/A Info: Processes: 238 Uptime: 50m Memory: 3.28 GiB used: 1.76 GiB (53.7%) Shell: bash inxi: 3.0.38 Hope someone can answer me.
