No video card - just a video chip on my motherboard - is that OK? - mraroid - 03-25-2023 Hello friends... I have an HP Touch Smart 520-1047C all in one computer. I am upgrading it with a Samsung SS drive and installing the largest amount of RAM I can - which is only 8 GBs. This all in one computer has no slot for a video card. It has an intel chip on the motherboard for video. I cant do anything about this. Can I still install Linux-Lite (6.4) on it? Many thanks, mraroid Re: No video card - just a video chip on my motherboard - is that OK? - The Repairman - 03-26-2023 An excellent resource and a good place to start. https://www.freecinema2022.gq/manual/ Re: No video card - just a video chip on my motherboard - is that OK? - Valtam - 03-26-2023 Run Linux Lite live from a USB first before installing, to test hardware compatibility. |
