I have not had issues before but have just received the following message when trying to update the software, any advice gratefully received:
Install Updates could not fetch the package cache information lists.

You have 2 issues...
Remove the offending PPA - blueman
Uncheck the PPA from "Software and Updates" under the "Other Software" tab..
for spotify - https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/installing-software/updates-to-software/msg48549/#msg48549
Then try running updates again..
You can update from terminal or from Menu > Favorites > Install Updates
A quick search of PPA or Spotify will yield more f needed...

An uncheck of PPA - Blueman did the trick.
Updates working again.
