This might help someone. I have an old HP LaserJet 5000n printer with a by-pass tray (tray 1), A4 in tray 2 and A3 in tray 3. It has been working for donkeys' years with Linux Lite and Windows. However, come a LinuxLite 5 install the A3 option vanished when following the default printer install path (which loads as "HP LaserJet 5000 Series pcl3, hpcups 3.20.3")
. However, it does offer A3 if I choose "HP LaserJet 5000 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.3.3" - which also gives more useful tray descriptions
