Update error - cdrom? - whirlygirl - 02-13-2021 Hi. I just installed linux lite on an old HP. I installed from a dvd I burned to on the same computer. When I try to update I get the following error. I am a complete novice. I tried reading other threads, but they didn't seem to pertain, so I am sorry if this is a duplicate. =========================== Install Updates Error log =========================== Install Updates could not fetch the package cache information lists. Re: Update error - cdrom? - Valtam - 02-14-2021 Hmm, it doesn't look 'installed' it looks like you are running it Live. Also, make sure DVD is NOT in drive when doing Updates. |
