Tooltips are the little info boxes that pop up when hovering the mouse over an icon, especially an icon in a panel. 1. - Right-click on the panel and from the context menu select Panel Settings 2. - In panel settings go to Items' tab, select the launcher from the list you want to disable tooltips to. 3. - Click on the gear icon on the right to run the launcher's setting dialog box. 4. - Under Advanced, look for Disable tooltips and uncheck the box.
