Error while installing updates after fresh install - azaz - 07-30-2020
Hi all
Newb here with a fresh install of linuxlite 5.0. After installation, I tried to update software but got the following errors. I hope someone is able to help and guide me in the right direction to fix this. Many thanks.

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is held by process 3144 (apt-get)
E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?

You have something already open - perhaps command line or synaptic? Close any open windows/apps.
You can close any of these to release the lock or if you cannot locate the app you can try rebooting and rerunning.
