Additional drivers "This device is not working" false positive? - nathg - 06-01-2020

I have this false positive message in drivers which states my Intel wifi is not working when in fact it is having no trouble at all on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.  Download/upload speeds are fine.
The radio selection buttons "Using iwlwifi driver backport...." and "Do not use the device" are both greyed out and if I select "Continue using a manually installed driver" the Apply Changes button still remains greyed out.  So no matter what I do, the Intel Corporation: Wireless 3165 "This device is not working" message remains constantly there under the Additional Drivers tab.

But as mentioned before, wifi works fine on both channels.

Any ideas on what might be going on here?  See attachment for screenshot.

PS:  Great work on allowing LL 5.0 to boot on a 32bit UEFI system to install, this Compute Stick PC will live on a bit longer without Windows 10

Firstly, it's working so don't touch anything Smile Looks like you're benefiting from a newer kernel version, that's all. Seems the application can't report that information properly.
