Since an update I can not use Lite.
First I've got an error message: [tt]rc.local[1683]: xset: unable to open display ""[/tt]
Now I got this:

vboxdrv TSC mode is InvariantAfter about three other lines on vbox I got error messages about hd access. fsck says all file systems are ok.
Since weeks I'm using Linux Mint.

Hi there,
This seems to be related to the updating of VirtualBox modules, see thread below.
You have to put certain modules on hold to prevent updating.

The only way I can start Linux Lite was to choose in the GRUB menu "upstart". I'm not sure what it does, but so I have had the chance to login and work at the terminal.
I've made an upgrade, because I hoped, that the virtualbox prblem will be fixed bey the new upgrade. No succes.
Now, if I try to start Lite in the normal way I get UFW messages. The following is not from my computer, I've copied it from WWW to show the format of the messages:

Such messages are comming up to the screen without end.
