I am not sure it will be a good thing, it was the only way to get graphics working at all on LL on this computer.
The articles reads about inclusion being faster and it not being needed, the drivers for this are still not available for Linux 1 years, and 3 months since install, and still not working as they should be, I would not call this fast as per article, personally.
Most similar level of users would have reverted to Windows on such a computer 1 years or more ago.
I just dig my heels in/stubborn over it, in comparison to this ones.
When I looked at the dates of previous drivers, I did realize it will take 2-3 years for Linux to work with this, so I waited etc.
The update < 3 minutes ago for it must have been the final one.
