Hope I ask this in the right place - HP AiO 24-e001 23.8? - Tobbe - 03-08-2018 Hi, Anyone can tell me if this all-in-one (HP AiO 24-e001) computer from HP gonna work with Linux Lite? I search the hardware database but couldn't find anything about it. My old HP Elitebook 8540p is very slow and the fan is on all the time. You can expect common EFI issus with Intel i5 versions and SSDs even though available firmware is complete. If this box is the older AMD CPU build it should have BIOS legacy options and an MBR drive but the CPU firmware itself and the memory array configuration can be an issue. Touchscreen may problematic as well. I expect LL will run fine, but you may have to make some adjustments after install. I have always found big AMD boxes to be more problematic with Linux in general compared to Intel. TC |
