USB not displayed in Boot Order - firenice03 - 03-04-2018 I came across this once before and thought I'd toss this out to the community and those installing where a USB drive is not found or unreadable at boot even when in Legacy mode and SecureBoot disabled. I noticed this on a couple HP's where I had a bootable flash drive for backup purposes (using Redo backup) that would not be read let alone listed in boot options. I tried several USB/boot tools; Rufus, Yumi and Win32diskimage with the mounted redo iso (assuming same results for any LL iso) Not until Storage was enabled as in the below screenshot, then the USB drives would be selectable in boot order/option (F9) A few generic screenshots for example... Secure Boot and Legacy ![]() Storage needs enabled for Removable Media Boot ![]() |
