Installing wine - anon - 02-13-2018 I cannot install wine because when I try to do it from the Linux Lite software application did not work and I also got some thing in terminal it looks like the packages they are broken is anyone else having this issue my apologies for my broken English Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Re: Installing wine - Valtam - 02-13-2018 I just installed Wine via Lite Software with no problem. If you have broken packages, go to Menu, System, Install/Remove Software and fix them there. Then install Wine via Lite Software. Re: Installing wine - osde8info - 02-13-2018 worked fine for me too Code: # aptitude install wine Code: root@lili:~# lsb_release -a Re: Installing wine - anon - 02-20-2018 (02-13-2018, 05:22 AM)Jerry link Wrote: I just installed Wine via Lite Software with no problem. That workt for me thank you Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Re: Installing wine - UncleTom - 02-22-2018 I have WINE installed on Lite3.8 (64bit) and it seems OK. However, not all software will install. I found all sorts of problems with Win64bit programs. Since WINE does not have error messages, and since I'm too old to chase programming problems,,, I discovered that by downloading the latest Win32bit programs, copy them to Lite, and most would install and run as they should. Hope this helps. Re: Installing wine - TheDead - 02-23-2018 [member=6490]UncleTom[/member] Thanks for the tip, I'm just starting using 64bits and use Wine... pretty sure this was just a matter of time stublling on this problem.
