Blueman Trusty ppa throwing errors on LL 2.4 updater - rokytnji - 11-22-2017

Just info. I had to disable Blueman repo in my sources.list to update one of my 2.4 LL machines.

Code:
           deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/blueman/ppa/ubuntu trusty main
Active apt sources in file: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ehoover-compholio

My error

Code:
Err http://ppa.launchpad.net trusty/main i386 Packages
  403  Forbidden
Ign http://ppa.launchpad.net trusty/main Translation-en_US
Ign http://ppa.launchpad.net trusty/main Translation-en
W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/blueman/ppa/ubuntu/dists/trusty/main/binary-i386/Packages  403  Forbidden

After commenting out Blueman ppa for i386. You can use synaptic repo section to uncheck that repo for you gui users. < Likes a window box instead of command line >

After that
The updater finished OK.

Code:
harry@biker1:~$ sudo apt-get -f install
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.
harry@biker1:~$
[code]

Just posting this in case anybody else runs into this. I got a feeling the developer dropped Ubuntu 14.04 i386 support for Blueman in the PPA a bit early is all.

What's the exact version you are using?

Missed your post.  All installs with this version Jerry. I fixed them removing Blueman from sources.list.

Code:
harry@biker1:~$ cat /etc/llver
Linux Lite 2.8
harry@biker1:~$ $ inxi -r

Just posting these little snippets in case other users run into this on the same version of LL.

The version of Blueman was what I was referring to.
