Yours is different bitsnpcs. I would ask you to start a different thread, but it will be easier here just to point out that your "https://download.01.org/gfx/ubuntu/16.04/main" entry is erroring. I don't know what that is, we don't provide it. Probably a PPA or manual entry you added at some stage. Intel PPA?

thank you for you help, I will await them to fix the error on stack update Smile

I added it manually .deb from 01.org , it is the Intel graphics stack/driver, its the only way that LL (and any other Linux distro I have tried, tried many to test) works currently with Skylake.
In future time when its higher kernel hardware headers (its available) and then it will work at higher than 1024x768 which is current maximum etc.
I am using 4.9 kernel but it's not these hardware headers.
With stack available it is also higher Mesa, but is not installed, this reverts to old etc.

My problem is simply that 'http://repo.linuxliteos.com/linuxlite xenial Release' does not have a release file. Fixed it by deleting this repo. Does that mean I am not receiving all updates?
I have had this problem on every Lite release I have tried and I have not added any repos. Should this repo be removed from the installation or should a release file be included?

[member=5798]mdavies5[/member] open /etc/apt/sources.list.d/linuxlite.list as Administrator (right click) and change the word xenial to citrine.
Do the same for the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/linuxlite.list.save Be very careful to maintain the existing spaces.
