Converting from Mint to Lite on a HP2000 laptop. - dfshunk - 07-03-2017 Hi all, I have a five-year old HP2000 laptop that I converted to Linux Mint. After the success I've had with Lite on a 2006 MacBook, I want to convert the HP2000 to Lite as well. However, I've tried multiple times to load from a DVD and USB and I just cannot get anything to work. I've made the USBs on several tools and nothing is working. I've gone into the BIOS to get the computer to boot a DVD and from a USB and the machine still boots from the hard drive. I know I'm missing something simple but cannot figure out what it is. Any suggestions??? Thanks, Don Re: Converting from Mint to Lite on a HP2000 laptop. - penglezos - 07-03-2017 Dear Don, Welcome to our community once again!
