Just joined this forum - barnaby - 03-02-2017
Name is Barnaby. I have recently installed Lite 3.2 on my laptop. I also have a desk top computer which is running Xubuntu 16.04. I have been using Linux exclusively for the last 16 years, so not a beginner. I have seen so many good reports about Lite that I decided to have a look. My wife and daughter also use Xubuntu, version 14.04. (Windows is not allowed in this house.) Since they will need to be upgraded soon I plan to test Lite to see if it would be a good idea to move them over. Xfce is my favourite desktop manager so that should be a help.
I have a couple of comments about the install, but perhaps I should send that to a different section.

I've distro hopped like most do but have settled on LL for a couple of years now and fully recommend it

I'm without windows for 10 years or so and very happy.
Especially with a distro like LL.
