Genius Vivid 1200 XE scanner - Dragoljub - 02-23-2017 Hello everybody, Related to Genius Vivid 1200 XE old scanner, can this advice on link bellow work? I tried, opened user folder as admin and created folders advised in attachment, but I am getting message that library can not be opened. http://askubuntu.com/questions/510751/operate-genius-colorpage-vivied-1200xe-on-ubuntu14-04-lts Re: Genius Vivid 1200 XE scanner - bitsnpcs - 02-23-2017 Hello Dragoljub, try this Re: Genius Vivid 1200 XE scanner - Dragoljub - 02-24-2017 It worked now, but in the same way as first advise on first link. I was not making the right folders in right locations earlier. I created several folders Gt68xx on paths, usr/share/sane, then usr/share/sane/xsane, then, usr/local/share. I am not sure which one is important but it is solved. Re: Genius Vivid 1200 XE scanner - Dragoljub - 02-24-2017 It worked only once, then it broke ![]() Re: Genius Vivid 1200 XE scanner - bitsnpcs - 02-24-2017 Good to read you got it configured. ![]() Do you think it is a hardware movement inside, or because it was moved during the scanning it stopped software process ? Is there a setting to purge documents being scanned ? Or maybe using Lite tweaks and clear cache memory can do it. I hate to say it, unplug scanners power and plug it back inĀ :-X |
