Make all apps obey Style chosen in "Appearance"? - Carney - 01-29-2017 My wife chose the "Clearlooks" style and the Faenza icon theme from the Appearance app. However, certain apps, including not only downloaded ones such as Google Chrome and Evolution, but even built-in apps such as VLC, don't have the window widgets, scrollbars, etc look the Clearlooks style calls for. Re: Make all apps obey Style chosen in "Appearance"? - rokytnji - 01-29-2017 System wide changes are handled by the root file system usually located /usr/share/ or /etc/skel User changes are usually handled in /home/username/ I know that sounds vague.
