Re: Lite Welcome in 3.4 - LL-user - 12-19-2016

Hi Jerry,

I currently don't have a 3.2 machine up and running to compare...

A few suggestions:

First screenshot:
currently: "Linux Lite aims to provide each user with a basic collection..."
suggested: "Linux Lite provides a basic collection..."

Second screenshot:
currently: "Welcome to Linux Lite. Before you start to use your new system, it is recommended that you complete the first 3 steps listed below."
suggested: "Once you have installed Linux Lite and before you can begin using it, it is strongly recommended that you first complete the 3 steps listed below.
If you are running the Live version of Linux Lite, there is no need to complete these 3 steps."

currently: first the title, then the step
suggestion: all in one line, like "Step 1: Install Updates"

"Step 1: Install Updates"
suggestion:
"First you need to update your system! Click on the button below to Install Updates now:
            | Install Updates Button |
On the window that pops up, enter the password of the user you created during the installation.

You can also install updates via the menu. Click on Menu, Favorites, Install Updates

"Step 2: Install Drivers"
suggestion:
"Now, let's see if you need any drivers installed. Click on the button below to check:
            | Install Drivers Button |

You can also install drivers via the menu. Click on Menu, Favorites, Install Drivers

"Step 3: Setting a Restore Point"

suggestion:
"Last step is to create, just like on Windows, a restore point that you can restore from in case something goes wrong. Click here to lean about Systemback and how to set your first Restore Point. When you are ready, click on the button below.
            | Set a Restore Point Button |

You can also access Systemback via the menu. Click on Menu, System, Systemback

Good changes! Will make getting started easier, for those I'm recommending Linux Lite to for their introduction to Linux.
