Firefox 46.0.1 is not working well - Ottawagrant - 06-02-2016 An old problem has resurfaced. I know for a fact this is NOT a Linux Lite fault. When you close Firefox and start it again quickly, it tells you that Firefox is already running. So you have to reboot the computer. It seems with each version of Firefox they either add more junk you don't want, or it crashes, or just plain buggy. As for this problem, it happened in Windows 7 & 10 on various FF versions. If I remember, the problem started with FF in the early version 30's. So if this happens to anyone just reboot your computer & then we wait for the next version of Firefox. Maybe Jerry will consider adding 'Pale Moon' to the next release of LL. - Or maybe I will, he said to himself. Re: Firefox 46.0.1 is not working well - anon222 - 06-02-2016 Have you tried the "Min"? It's a lightweight open source browser. https://minbrowser.github.io/min/ Some description here: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/05/minimal-web-browser-linux |
