This means whatever drawback Ubuntu 16.04 LTS experience, this will be experienced under LL 3.0 as well => LL 3.0 uses the same repositories as Ubuntu. Secondly, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS will not support the AMD Catalyst (fglrx) driver, read this article. This means you need to use the open-source alternatives as can be read in the article. We may use the same repositories, but we do not use exactly the same software as Ubuntu. Ubuntu has Unity and many other softwares Linux Lite does not carry. We can therefore avoid many of the issues Ubuntu experiences. When problems did arise I could never remove them and ended up reinstalling the OS.
