How do I change folder names in Thunar to my native language - nomko - 01-23-2016

*edit*
This did the trick: https://www.freecinema2022.gq/manual/install.html#setlang. But only for the Whisker menu. How can i also change the folder names in Thunar from English to Dutch?

Try this:

Open a terminal and do:

Code:
xdg-user-dirs-update --force

then log out then in again. You will see 2 sets of each folders, now you have dutch names.
Don't forget to move files from the english folders to the dutch ones.

Then you can delete the english folders.

Thanks! That did the trick. although it's weird to do it this way. I think something isn't really okay during setup/installation. I choose my native language in the first step of the installation procedure but still everything turns into the English language.

I think the developers messed up 1 or 2 things here since i've never encountered anything like this.
