Re: Can't get Brightside to work properly - Wirezfree - 08-29-2015 O.K, That's Funny, it say's there's no menu entry..!!! Can't help further.. sorry... GL Re: Can't get Brightside to work properly - rokytnji - 08-29-2015 Code: locate brightside in terminal for starters. it tell you where everyhting is installed. Or use the gui search find files in Linux Lite. Which does the same thing. Code: which brightside should show the launchcode path Code: brightside should show errors on why it is not launching Quote:No, it won't even launch even though it's in my Menu. Since you do not say what the menu entry says (text line launch code line). No further help can be given. Re: Can't get Brightside to work properly - jacatone - 08-29-2015 Here's what it says: [jacatone@Dell-4550 ~]$ which brightside /usr/bin/brightside [jacatone@Dell-4550 ~]$ brightside (process:4208): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram:m-connect after class was initialised (process:4208): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram:how-crash-dialog after class was initialised (process:4208): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::display after class was initialised (process:4208): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property GnomeProgram::default-icon after class was initialised Daemon already running, exiting... It just says "Run Brightside" in the Menu bar, then nothing happens. |
