[Solved] Where Is Syslog? - kjacobs - 03-18-2015

Me again.....I have noticed that it seems that syslog is missing on LL 2.2 and at least 2 machines built recently. My desktop has a syslog in the VAR/LOG/ folder, but it is empty and dated back in November of last year.

What happened to the logging that posts to syslog, as it is needed for some troubleshooting of other software? ???

Thanks,
Ken

Search is your friend Smile https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/suggestions-and-feedback/(solved)-log-file-error/msg11172/#msg11172

This will be fixed in 2.4

Hot dog Jerry, thanks for the link.......

Sometimes I find it faster to ask than wade through tons of posts (as is the case with my other post regarding virtual consoles not working on my dual screen).....but point well taken on the search.

Thanks again.
