[SOLVED] Whisker Menu 1.5.0 released (not yet in LL repositories) - anon222 - 02-22-2015 I wanted to try out the new whisker menu 1.5.0 that was released a few days ago. Mugshot was added; LL allready has this Option to set background opacity; cool make launchers executable when they are added to desktop; Usefull Most important changes in the latest Whisker Menu 1.5.0:

Re: Whisker Menu 1.5.0 released (not yet in LL repositories) - ukbrian - 02-22-2015 It seems logical to me that if you use icons rather than a text line the captive area around an icon is much greater therefore your taget is larger requiring less accuracy from the mouse/touch screen making it more user friendly. I use Josep Del Rios speed dial extension in Firefox ESR for the same reason, it's far, far better than text lines in bookmarks. I could never control bookmarks they always ended up an unmaintainable mess and I love tree menus. The whole reason behind forking whiskermenu was to give our users the latest features, including initially left side categories. We were the first distro to offer that 1.5.0 for 32bit out now, Install Updates, then do: xfce4-panel --restart to reload the panel. 64bit out later today.
