Video Editor suggestions for Linux Lite - Valtam - 01-30-2015

Having just finished reading this article - http://www.ubunauts.ca/openshots-developpers-disappear-after-successful-crowdfund/ I have lost confidence in Openshot. We currently offer this program through Lite Software.

If you have experience on video editing in linux, I'd like to hear your suggestions for a replacement for Openshot. I chose Openshot for its clean interface, ease of use and similarity to Windows Movie Maker. So any suggestions should only reflect these qualities.

Thank you Smile

Doesn't appear the guy skipped town with the money -- just has some (undefined) personal issues that are causing the delay in new release.  See here:  https://answers.launchpad.net/openshot/+question/259546

Thanx for clarifications g_f , one s gotta be aware anyways . No news from the developer(s) s pretty bad , had to have someone speak about the no news by the dev s not pretty good news usually .

If he s sick , then I ll wish him well also , I know what it is . But that long without news is weird on my end .

Hello!

This presumes that you have 'Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default' selected, under the 'Preferences' tab...

I guess Kdenlive could be another. But I do no video editing or know how. So take my suggestions with a grain of salt.
