Screen Studio - liijoh - 01-10-2015
Hey guys! I have recently installed Linux Lite 3.2 on dell latitude E6410 laptop. I'm trying to stream to twitch.tv and i have heard screen studio is the closest application to getting the job done. I have installed the latest version of libav-tools. When I try to add the repository it says it goes through here:

OKThen when I update I get this error in the terminal:

I try running the application. but it doesnt appear to be on my system. What I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

I m no expert on this matter but your repo list isn t good , it has some precise repo in there , instead of trusty , someone will be able to help you on that matter .

Gee , wonder why it got you some precise repo instead of trusty , might be a bug in there .

I would try to change the repo there to trusty in Synaptic & update & see what it does .

What did you find? That link just brings me to thier google+ account. I dont see anything helpful there. And what do you mean by changing it to "trusty" how do i do that? Noob here.

Ah ok , in Synaptic , which is Add/Remove Software in Linux Lite , you will see the repos in there .
You can find Add/Remove Software in the Menu , then System , then add/remove software .

Im sorry could you please elaborate on how to change the repo to trusty? I have synaptic open. Where do I go from here?

Ok cool , you happen to be in Synaptic .
Get onto the top left of the synaptic when it s open !
Click on Settings , you ll see something like Preferences , just underneat it , Repositories , repo for short . Been there also , no worries , one has to learn right !

Then . You click on Repositories , then you ll see Software & Updates window opened , click on Other Softwares .
