Round of applause! - Monkeyman - 12-13-2014
Just wanted to give Jerry and the other forum members a BIG round of applause for all the help I've received. I've tried various Linux distros in the past with little success. If those had the same support that LL has, I probably would have stuck with Linux a long time ago. I tend to get frustrated and stressed pretty easily but when I installed 2.2 a few hours ago, I felt much less stress than normal mostly because I KNEW, if I had a problem (and I did), I'd get an answer here.
Two thumbs up to the Linux Lite "team"!

I have been on on many... many Forums and in my early days on the FIDO BBS from mid 80's
I can honestly say this is a Model for how they should run...
Hats off to Jerry, the Devs and the more knowledgeable folks who freely give up their time to help others.

Over the years, I have ran a few Fidonet BBSs myself. A decade ago, tired of the all the demagoguery and class warfare on Fidonet, I finally pulled the plug and gave up the extra phone number. Surprisingly, there are still some of them left out there.
