14.04 or 14.10? Sorry if this was touched on previously...
I would suggest to keep on 14.04 for the LTS factor if that was not the intent already. As long as the release has up to date packages (as of release date) it would be golden

I thought that was the case, but wasn't sure if you were planning on moving to a non-LTS. I am for one very glad you are not. Those 9 month releases are just too short.
