Re: wireless usb adapter - bitsnpcs - 05-28-2017 The new ethernet cable you will order will solve it. If you want to fix the antenna and connections then to fit the wireless card in, or a replacement one. Cutting it back you will need to extend the antenna cables to the needed length and then to do this. Can use 2 connectors, solder at the old cable and the new cable, between this it is a joiner connector screened, each side push into that and then they screw together each one over joiner, I have this type of joiners and also joiners that are adapters between antennas on the mobile kit for wifi. Then solder the connectors at end of cable for the card. Repeat for other cable. Re: wireless usb adapter - TMG1961 - 05-28-2017 I ordered a flat S/FTP cable from ebay, will arrive in a few days. Untill then i can either use my phone (usb tethering) or use a old cat 5 cable. I didnt look good and thought i ordered the cat 6 cable but it is actually a cat 7 cable, no problem, price was 11,99 euro and free shipping from Jersey Re: wireless usb adapter - bitsnpcs - 05-29-2017 Good to read you have the cable on its way. ![]() I haven't used cat 7, it says they also use the cat 7 for wiring smart homes. Re: wireless usb adapter - TMG1961 - 05-29-2017 For me a cat5, cat5e or cat6/6a would have worked as fine. Even the cat 5 cable i use now reaches download speed of 150Mbit. But at leat i am prepared for the future ![]() Re: wireless usb adapter - bitsnpcs - 05-29-2017 It good to be prepared for the future, and you don't need to then buy another cable to upgrade soon. ![]() Re: wireless usb adapter - CoraDias - 02-26-2018 Hi...i am a new user here. I have seen a device that you plug it in electric outlet, then router ethernet cable to that plug, next then to any/many socket outlet in your home you plug the other of pair/sets, and short ethernet cable to computer. pcb assembly request Re: wireless usb adapter - TMG1961 - 02-26-2018 I just hooked the laptop up to a cat 7 cable, was cheaper. Re: wireless usb adapter - trinidad - 02-26-2018 Just a thought but maybe ask the kids at the Solydx forum if they have a connection to get Panda products to the Netherlands. TC Re: wireless usb adapter - TMG1961 - 02-27-2018 For me the wired solution works. The laptop is always at the same place, hasnt moved since i got it. So a cable isnt a problem, and it only did cost me 13 euro. Speed is good, 200Mbit/secdownload |
