N4RPS, the equipment I have allowed me to have a separate radio for the reception, so it is full duplex. But I did give some thought to the arrangement you are suggesting. My link speed is already below 4Mbps, so I think I'd go crazy using half duplex as you are. Let me see if I can draw a picture for clarity.
