As for this ol' dog. he's always happy to help a pup in distress whenever possible. Wink

Actually, I tried out LXPup 13.01 FULL on an old dinosaur around here the other day. (I just seem to be able to customize LXDE to my liking more easily.) It seemed to me that the list of packages available for it was quite limited.

I was also uncertain about just how to upgrade LXPup to the latest version. I like the 'full version' concept because you don't have to think about what it will take for you to put a whole system together.

Perhaps there's some tricks I don't yet know to get access to more Puppy-compatible stuff for download, or a way to convert other packages to Puppy easily...

Hi all

So here is what I did and it worked just fine hope it helps others, I have also attached a system info file so you can all see the actual specs of the lappy.

1. Installed all updates did NOT reboot
2. Menu>All>Install Drivers
3. installed Broadcom drivers
4. installed nVidia drivers
5. rebooted
6. Everything works really well doing this post on it.
