Until that person comes along, and something happened suddenly where I was no longer physically and or mentally able to work on the project, the inevitable would take place. If there was plenty of warning, I would advertise on the internet for someone to take over the project. Given our growing popularity and ranking, I doubt that would be to difficult ![]() Re: An Interview With Linux Lite Project Manager Jerry Bezencon - newtusmaximus - 07-13-2017 The building of your LL development team , all of whom share the LL philosophy, might provide an answer.. Everyone is but one step away from the proverbial "London Bus" There is a purpose in this awkward question. LL is a concise reliable user friendly package, with great on-line support from this forum. It has considerable potential in SOHO and small business sector, especially with its older hardware compatibility. In order to maximise that potential, it would be helpful to give potential users the assurance of long term support/development. I have recently had this question raised indirectly, by a seller of used office equipment who is looking beyond the current well known Office software provider. I am sure- world-wide that there other similar opportunities and hence this could well be an avenue worth pursuing? Re: An Interview With Linux Lite Project Manager Jerry Bezencon - Artim - 07-13-2017 Who are the members of the Linux Lite team? It'd be nice for them all to get some recognition and appreciation on the web site. And for those of us who can't code or do the technical stuff, but want to contribute more than just money and fanboy posts, any suggestions? I have said in these Forums many times that I am in this for the long haul. Beyond that, no one can tell. Any operating system, software project can disappear over night. |
