If it works on the same system different network, I'd assume its being blocked or filtered or just not allowed.
When trying at marinia where it fails, what kind of error? 404 or???

Firenice, what happens is the browser just hangs, he gets an indication that something's happening in the browser but nothing ever loads in at all. And it doesn't matter what browser he uses, the result is the same. And the browser didn't have any special extensions installed.

Yes, that is what I am thinking, that is filtered out or not allowed. This person is now in transit to another marina so we'll see what happens at the new place whether he can get on it there. I will report back once I hear from him.

Thanks for your interest though.

Ok, I just got an email from the friend who couldn't get on to ActiveCaptain. He since moved on to a new Marina and I was anxious to hear if he had the same difficulty there, nope ! Now he gets on with no problem !  ;D I'll bet there was some sort of filtering going on just like some of you have mentioned. The marina where he was at was getting negative feedback from folks who stayed there so maybe that's the reason.

Anyway, this issue is pretty much closed now. I didn't see how to mark this at Solved, how do I do that ? Or does the moderator do that ?
