That's exactly why I'm going to offer this upgrade as optional, situations like that Smile

@Jerry,
A final question,
If I wanted to report the "SDHCI Error" for non-existent H/W in the Kernel, where would I report that to.??
Googling shows lot's of kernel related posts across many locations..??

Thanks...

Make it optional. On Ubuntu LTS, you will get the newer kernel and drivers only if you install it manually or install Ubuntu point release from scratch.

The next 14.04 Ubuntu release (released in February I think) will have a kernel 4.x. It is supposed to have support for new AMD cards and other things. I think it will even have a support for Toshiba's sleep and charge USB.

In my opinion, It would be gould to ship the same (or newer) drivers and kernel like the Ubuntu LTS version Linux Lite is based on.

So Linux Lite 2.8 with whatever kernel 14.04.4 will have. Just to keep the real LTS experience Wink.
