Yes, 3.19 , just to quick with my fingers, corrected now.
Yes, I have seen the nomodeset, I will try it when I get his NUC next week.
I guess that is modifying/editing the grub parameters during bootup.
The Interesting one is the Linux Mint 17.2, because that uses kernel 3.16
Will update this thread when I have tried the various options.
