Fresh Install, 2.2 Stuck on Creating User - DLX - 03-17-2015

I formated drive started to install 2.2 from ISO 32 bit seem be going OK till making user.

On floating box Creating User blue bar gone seven blocks across and stored moving. Been sitting there for about 30mins.

The mouse pointer round is still spinning.
What should I do
Start again reboot box?

To add ISO is loaded on usb not dvd I used to unpack ISO UNetbootin.

What boxes did you tick during installation?

Iv rebooted. On floating box press updates did think that was for live not full install.

What I did
Install I clicked desktop short cut install Linux Lite.
From memory clicked format drive.

Don't think I clicked encrypt home folder.

Made user name so on.
See what happens next as retrying

Don't tick any extra stuff like third party codecs or updates, lvm or encryption, just do partitioning, language, name and password - the bare minimum or just the compulsory options.

I did click 3rd party I try again.
I got this error when looking for cd. I don't have one.

Installer crash.

I got this every time on a faulty DVD only. I used DVD-RW for testing many distros, and it got corrupted after all the erasing and burning. If what others said won't help. Try new DVD, if you use USB stick, it could be faulty too. Try to do MD5 check on the image also.

I had a problem with UnetBootin, I always used Rufus, worked always for me. If you are creating the bootable USB on Windows.

Using a USB stick no cd/dvd
I made ISO on Linux box I got same error as I don't have a CD/DVD drive.

Will give Rufus a go now. (Edit) This is .exe windows. Will have do a Google look for another ISO software if original one no good.

I did Install like Jerry said no 3rd party. 

I have to Google MD5 test.

I borrowed a dvd drive from a neighbour Got passed point of error fully installed then did reboot.

Now stuck on this ten mins plus

Tilt head to left

Hope os installed ok
No did reboot got no system disk or disk error.

Place and strike any key when ready. Had this before with windows machine.

The easiest way to check the md5sum for the iso is to navigate into the directory where it was downloaded and right click on a blank spot in the thunar window and click "open terminal here"  in the terminal type:    "md5sum" followed by a space and then the name of the iso file and hit enter. When it finishes it will display a string of numbers and letters. Check this string against the md5 checksum available on the page you downloaded the iso from.  If every thing matches the download is ok, if not you should download the iso again.

Didn't get round to looking was fidling with dvd drive.

I'm trying again with 2.2 as I didn't have problem with 2.0 maybe I should install at then upgrade to 2.2

Does that make any difference?

This is probably a user error not the ISO.
